People live their lives bound by what they accept to be correct and true, that's how they define reality. But what does it mean to be "correct" and "true"? Merely vague concepts, their "reality" may all be a mirage. Can we consider them to simply be living in their own world, shaped by their beliefs?

My sister used to lecture me about “letting go” and “giving up”. “Letting go” means just setting a person free when you both know you deserve each other while “giving up” is just, well, giving up attempts at getting someone’s feelings. I always never listen which is why I always get hurt in my campaigns toward certain women. Now, I guess it’s time for me to accept that things just don’t work out the way we plan. So in accordance with my plan of “giving up” my campaign towards the 100% perfect girl, I’ll just go ahead and offer this song:

This song is a story of a guy who’s about to let go (note: let go) of a girl whom he thinks he doesn’t deserve. The idea centers on the guy’s respect for the girl’s standards and goals- something he thinks he couldn’t achieve in due time unless he was a force of nature. He lets go but lets the girl know that if she reconsiders, she has to show him where to begin, an indication of still being there for her.

A lot of people have told me that what I felt was nothing more than infatuation. Well, true love involves making the other person happy even if it means not being part of that happiness, something that I am trying to do right now.
